Located in Colorado’s rugged San Juan Mountain Range,
the handcrafted, chinked-style log home features
5,500 square feet of living space. The owners
sculpted the fire pit and hot tub (covered by the
red mat) out of the limestone shelf on which the
home is situated. Chad Haspells of Pagosa Springs
carved a mother bear and her cub from a 250-year
old spruce tree that died during excavation and a
